The representative acts on behalf of the taxpayer before the tax administration and can carry out all kinds of procedures, such as filing returns, requesting deferrals or payment in installments of debts, filing appeals and resolving queries. It is important that the representative is duly authorized by the taxpayer, otherwise the tax administration will not allow him\/her to act on his\/her behalf.<\/p>\n

As for tax assistance, the Spanish tax administration has a wide range of taxpayer assistance services. These services include telephone assistance, face-to-face advice, the processing of returns and applications through the Internet, and the issuance of tax certificates and documents.<\/p>\n
